Countdown to a birthday, with the weekday it lands on.
The date six months from any birthday.

Half Birthday Calculator finds the date exactly six months from a birthday. Schools use it for children whose birthdays fall in the summer holidays and who would otherwise never have one celebrated with their class; families use it for the same reason, and for the children born close to Christmas whose birthday gets swallowed.
Adding six months sounds trivial and has one awkward case. Six months from 31 August is 31 February, which does not exist. The calculator clamps to the last day of the target month, so that birthday gives 28 February, or the 29th in a leap year. The same applies to the 31st of any month whose counterpart is shorter.
The age shown is the age on the half birthday itself -- a child who turned seven in March is seven and a half in September, not eight. The weekday is included because that is usually what decides when anything actually happens.
The page shows its working, not just its answer. Where there is a formula it is printed with your own numbers substituted in, so you can check the result rather than take it on trust -- which is the difference between a calculator you can use for something that matters and one you cannot.
Everything runs inside your browser. What you type is never uploaded, never logged and never stored, and the calculator keeps working if your connection drops after the page has loaded.

Six months on can land on a date that does not exist, so the result is clamped to the last day of that month. 31 August gives 28 or 29 February.
Your age at the previous birthday plus a half. The calculator shows that figure rather than rounding it up.
Yes, for any past date of birth. Leap days and month-end dates are both handled rather than producing an invalid date.
