Percentage Calculator
Three calculators: percent of a number, what percent one number is, and change.
Your attendance percentage and what it allows.

Attendance Calculator works out where you stand against a minimum attendance requirement and, more usefully, what that leaves you. It gives your percentage now, how many of the remaining classes you have to attend to finish at or above the minimum, and how many you can therefore still miss.
The arithmetic looks forward rather than back, which is the part people get wrong. Attendance is judged on the whole term, so the question is not what percentage you have now but what fraction of the total you will end with. If 80 classes will be held in all and the minimum is 75%, you need 60 of them; subtract what you have already attended and you have the number outstanding.
Sometimes the requirement is already out of reach, and the calculator says so plainly rather than returning a negative allowance. That is worth discovering with weeks to go instead of at the end, because approved absences, medical certificates and condonation requests all have deadlines of their own.
The page shows its working, not just its answer. Where there is a formula it is printed with your own numbers substituted in, so you can check the result rather than take it on trust -- which is the difference between a calculator you can use for something that matters and one you cannot.
Everything runs inside your browser. What you type is never uploaded, never logged and never stored, and the calculator keeps working if your connection drops after the page has loaded.
Looking for something this does not cover? FreeToolStation.com is a second collection of the same kind of everyday tools, and it is worth a look if attendance calculator is only part of what you are working on.
The attendance calculator is used by writers, developers, students, marketers and anyone else who needs the job done once without installing software. Common cases include:
Whatever your institution requires. 75% is the common threshold for exam eligibility in India and many other systems, which is why it is the default.
Because attendance is judged across the whole term. Without the remaining count the calculator can only report where you are, not what you can still miss.
That depends on your institution. If medical or approved leave is excluded from the total, leave those classes out of both the attended and held figures.
Attend everything left -- the calculator shows where that finishes -- and raise it with your department immediately, since condonation and medical exemptions have deadlines.
If the attendance calculator is not quite what you need, these other free tools solve closely related problems, and there are 8 more in education calculators.
