Fees are charged on both sides, so a position has to rise by roughly twice the fee rate before it breaks even. On a high-fee platform that is a real hurdle, not a rounding detail.

About the Crypto Profit Calculator

Crypto Profit Calculator works out what a trade actually returned, with the fees on both sides counted. The buy fee reduces the amount that converts into units, and the sell fee reduces the proceeds, so a half per cent platform charge costs about one per cent of the position over a round trip.

The break-even price is the number most worth knowing before you trade rather than after. It is not the price you paid: it is the price at which the proceeds, after the sell fee, equal what you put in, including the buy fee. On a high-fee platform it can sit several per cent above the purchase price, which means a position showing a small gain on screen may still be a loss.

The price table runs the position at half, three quarters, break-even, your target and double the purchase price, which is a more honest picture than a single optimistic figure. Nothing here is a prediction or a recommendation: crypto prices are volatile and can go to zero, and this is arithmetic on numbers you supply.

This is arithmetic, not financial advice. It tells you what the numbers do; it cannot tell you whether a decision is right for your circumstances. Fees, taxes and local rules vary, so check anything that matters against the actual offer and speak to someone qualified before committing.

Everything is worked out inside your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded, logged or stored, which matters for the financial calculators in particular: the figures you put into them are nobody else's business.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the break-even price above my buy price?

Because you paid a fee to get in and will pay another to get out. The price has to rise by roughly twice the fee rate before you are level.

Does it handle a loss?

Yes. Enter a sell price below the buy price and the profit figure is negative, with the return shown as a negative percentage.

Is the fee a percentage or a flat amount?

A percentage, charged on both trades, which is how most exchanges price. For a flat fee, subtract it from the amount invested instead.
