Lumpsum Calculator
Growth of a single lump sum investment.
What a monthly investment plan grows to, and how much of it is growth.
A step-up SIP raises the contribution annually, usually with your salary.

SIP Calculator works out what a systematic investment plan becomes. A fixed amount is invested every month, each instalment earns a return for however long it is invested, and the whole thing is worked out month by month rather than with a single annual figure, which is why the answer matches what a fund house quotes.
The split between what you put in and what growth added is the point of looking. Over ten years at a reasonable return, growth is a little under half the final value; over twenty it is more than your contributions; over thirty it dwarfs them. Nothing about the monthly amount changes that pattern, only time does, which is the whole argument for starting early rather than starting big.
The step-up option raises the monthly amount each year, usually in line with a salary. It has a disproportionate effect because the increases arrive while there is still a long time for them to compound. A ten per cent annual step-up on a modest starting amount typically beats a much larger flat contribution over the same period.
This is arithmetic, not financial advice. It tells you what the numbers do; it cannot tell you whether a decision is right for your circumstances. Fees, taxes and local rules vary, so check anything that matters against the actual offer and speak to someone qualified before committing.
Everything is worked out inside your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded, logged or stored, which matters for the financial calculators in particular: the figures you put into them are nobody else's business.

The sip calculator is used by writers, developers, students, marketers and anyone else who needs the job done once without installing software. Common cases include:
Use a figure you can defend over the whole period and remember that past fund performance is not a forecast. Running a pessimistic rate alongside an optimistic one is more useful than either alone.
The arithmetic is the same shape, but a SIP adds money every month rather than leaving one lump sum, so each instalment compounds for a different length of time.
No. Subtract the fund's expense ratio from the return to approximate charges. Tax depends on your country and holding period.
