Split Bill Calculator divides a bill between a group, either evenly or according to what each person actually had, with tip and tax shared out fairly.
The even split is the easy case, and even there the rounding matters. A bill of 100 between three people is 33.33 each, which leaves a unit unaccounted for. The calculator assigns the remainder explicitly to one person rather than rounding everyone up and quietly collecting more than the bill, which is what most mental arithmetic does.
The uneven split is where the argument usually starts. Enter what each person ordered and the tip and tax are apportioned in the same ratio, so somebody who had a starter and a main is not paying the same service charge as somebody who had a coffee. That is both fairer and faster than the usual negotiation.
Tip can be entered as a percentage or as a fixed amount, and calculated before or after tax. Those give different totals, and which is correct depends on local custom rather than arithmetic, so the choice is yours and the difference is shown.
Everything is worked out inside your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded, logged or stored, which matters for the financial calculators in particular: the figures you put into them are nobody else's business.

It is assigned to one person and shown, so the shares always add back to the bill. Rounding everybody up collects more than the bill, which is the usual quiet error.
Custom varies by country. Both are offered and the difference is shown, so you can follow whichever applies where you are.
Use the uneven split and enter their combined amount against one name.
Yes. Mark the total as including service and the tip field adds nothing further unless you want it to.
